Single Use General Nipper – Curved 13cm

A study that we conducted found that more than 70% of podiatry practitioners had experienced work-related Repetitive Strain Injury. A typical practitioner could be making up-to 50,000 cuts per year, putting a strain on the hand and wrist.

In response to this, we developed a single use podiatry nipper to help reduce the risk of RSI and provide extra comfort during cutting.

Shock absorbing handles – The soft-grip silicone handles help absorb shock during nail cutting and reduces the stress on the hand and wrist.

Super cut blades – Because the nipper is single-use we are able to hone the blades for sharpness, meaning a sharp cut every time.

Lighter – The nipper is up to 40% lighter than traditional reusable nippers and its steel can be recovered. Less weight means less strain on the hand and wrist.

Concealed spring – Keeping the spring mechanism concealed means increased patient and practitioner safety.

More Details:

Created to tackle the widespread issue of work-related repetitive strain injury among podiatry practitioners, these general curved nippers feature many important advantages over reusable nippers. The easy grip silicone handles absorb the shock from cutting nails to greatly reduce the risk of RSI and provide additional comfort during the cutting process.

The ergonomic supercut blades require less effort when cutting, minimising wear and tear and your hands and wrists. They are build around a concealed spring which avoids the common failure point of misaligned external springs found with other single use nippers.

Each item undergoes a strict 7 point quality control check so you can be confident that it will work as intended, without posing any risk to you or your patient. The purpose built lightweight design not only means the nippers are easier to handle but they are much easier and cheaper to recycle.
